Last night Lydia stunned us with her artistic rendition of Bob and Larry. (For those of you who don't know Bob & Larry (is this possible???), they are the stars of VeggieTales and Lydia's personal heroes).
I assumed it was a coincidence, but no... she proclaimed she was drawing Bob and Larry, then proceeded to state "I'm drawing eyes and mouth." And when Daddy asked if they needed hats, well... hats were necessary indeed. This gave me great hope since, for the past 2-1/2 years, our daughter has generally shown more of Daddy's engineering brain than Mommy's creative brain.
Anyone know if BigIdea is hiring artists?

Well then, she is going to love how much stuff containing her personal heroes has already been packed for me to bring to her in two weeks!!
Wow I am impressed! Do I even see Junior Asparagus and Laura the Carrot of to the side? Just wait till she starts drawing pictures of you guys.
Personally, I think that Miss Lydia is quite advanced in her development. I would push for gifted and talented classes once she gets to school. She is clearly brilliant being that she is drawing such detailed pictures as 2 1/2 years!
After further investigation, I do say they do look alot like the French Peas.....
