Woo-hoo!A woman (Kate*) that I've gotten to know both through the international women's club and Lydia's preschool offered her spare bike (with child seat and helmet!) for use over the next few weeks. It's pretty basic, with no gears, so I won't be attempting any hills. Only simple, flat riding for me. But the traffic patterns are so crazy around here that I'm pretty afraid to cycle anyway. However, it does grant a certain amount of freedom - if only mental - and Marcus is ecstatic when its time to go for a ride. The time-savings are tremendous! I can finish at least a half a load of laundry with all my extra time.

Thrilled for both you and Marcus! He is just beaming in the picture. Enjoy your new found freedom AND the knowledge that God knows, hears, and cares.
I absolutely love the expression Marcus has on his face...so cute! I imagine there will be a whole new appreciation of toys and recreation upon your return.
It's hard to tell who is more thrilled - mom or Marcus!!
